Imagine it was last night... around this time... you know... time to be getting to bed. Sooo... Tiff lays there and almost falls asleep... when she feels like she's shaking. Sometimes she feels this on a normal day-to-day basis, but then she realized... "Man!... This is different!" The tremor stopped after a few seconds... then she felt a few other shakes... but Tiff just thought she was being extra-sensitive to her pulses on her knees (since she listens for pulses all over the place for a living)... but no... it was an earthquake!! She's seen too many movies with lightening-looking cracks up sides of buildings... and imagined the crack in her wall turn giant, as the roof falls off, and the trees topple down, and the water hydrants blow, and the MAX jumps the tracks. But then, she looks out and sees a little truck drive by... and all is well in Portland, Oregon. Pssshaw.
